What is a Psychopomp?

The word psychopomp originates from the Greek words psykhē meaning soul, mind, spirit, and the word pompos meaning guide, conductor, escort, messenger. Psychopomps are guides or conductors of the living through life transitions and of souls to the land of the dead.

Most of us live our lives influenced by societal norms and expectations and by our ancestral lineage, the legacies of our ancestors.

We’ve been handed down generations of patterns and behaviors.

Between this and the many layers of conditioning that we apply, it can be difficult to hear, or be in touch with, our soul’s purpose. It gets covered up, and we might even forget that we’re here because of it.

When we work together to identify areas of soul loss and your soul’s purpose, we focus on what is keeping you from mobilizing your love, power, wisdom, and vision.

So, how do we better understand soul loss? Societal norms and conditioning teach us what’s acceptable. Soul loss, or disconnection from our essence, our heart, happens as the result of closing off or shutting down parts of ourselves due to fear that the part, and we, will not be accepted.   

We can help you understand what is happening from a patterns and behaviors perspective. We will work together to find ways that feel good to you to make shifts, and then you can choose how to come into right relationship with yourself, your soul, others, your environment, etc. 

Tarot Reading & Channeled Message

Are you experiencing soul loss?

Do you feel stuck and have questions about your direction or soul’s purpose?

Would you like to receive guidance from spirit?

You bring one question or area of focus.  

The session includes a tarot reading (3-card pull) tailored to your specific situation and a channeled message from spirit.

Sessions may include deep witnessing of what is, energetic mirroring, chakra cleansing, inner child work, past life experiences, grounding, etc.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A 60-minute one-on-one session via Zoom (online).  The participant brings a specific question or area of focus. Marilynn pulls three (3) cards from the Tarot and tunes into spirit to receive the participant’s channeled message.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Adults (18 and over) who:

  • are curious about and open to receiving messages from spirit

  • are curious about their life/soul path/purpose

  • has experienced soul loss

    • What is soul loss? Soul loss is disconnection from your essence, your heart.  This happens as the result of closing off or shutting down parts of ourselves due to fear that the part will not be accepted and/or loved.
